When the DBS check is submitted, the data must be accurate and validated with the ID documentation provided. No changes can be made as it is an electronic process.
If an error has been made with regard to the spelling of names or incorrect address, the DBS certificate is invalidated as the wrong information has been checked.
A new DBS must be applied for.
