ISA ADULTS FIRST

The ISA AdultsFirst check is completely separate from the ISA check that comes as part of a DBS check, even through they are from the same source.

The result comes separately from another division within the DBS and the traffic lights are automatically updated when the result is received - usually quicker than the DBS result and generally within 24-48 hours.

No-one knows what the result is when the ISA is performed as part of the DBS check and is processing through the various police/DBS stages - this will only be revealed when the full result comes through.
